A key insider has come forward and revealed to congressional investigators how Russian interests tried to use their money to sway the Clintons.
They were hoping to BUY ACCESS to the then-secretary of state – and supposed “future president” – Hillary Clinton.

FBI informant Douglas Campbell spent four hours recently testifying to three committees: Senate Judiciary, House Oversight and House Intelligence.

And by all accounts, he gave them an earful.

The Hill reports that Campbell told investigators that Moscow tried to exploit Hillary’s self-serving “Russian reset” stunt by hiring a lobbying firm linked to the Clinton Global Initiative.

The firm, APCO, indicated that its work for both Russia and the Clintons is purely coincidental.

That word comes up a lot with the Clintons, doesn’t it?

But Campbell reportedly told the committees that APCO was told to apply some of the $3 million it received from the Russians to “support” the Clinton Global Initiative.

“The contract called for four payments of $750,000 over twelve months. APCO was expected to give assistance free of charge to the Clinton Global Initiative as part of their effort to create a favorable environment to ensure the Obama administration made affirmative decisions on everything from Uranium One to the U.S.-Russia Civilian Nuclear Cooperation agreement,” Campbell said, according to a statement obtained by The Hill.

Uranium One is the controversial deal that gave Russia control over a key portion of the U.S. uranium supply.

APCO told Fox News that Campbell’s claims are “false and unfounded.”

“All APCO’s actions on these two unconnected activities were publicly documented from the outset, legally proper and entirely ethical. Any assertion otherwise is false and unfounded,” the organization said.

Hillary has also repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

However, the Justice Department is investigating the Uranium One sale, a growing scandal that Trump has called “the real Russia story.”

Democrats desperate to protect “resistance” leader Hillary have resorted to attacking Campbell’s credibility in an angry letter to the Oversight and Intelligence committees.

But Campbell’s attorney said her client has something on his side that they don’t: Truth.

“He came out because he thought he was dying from cancer and he wanted his story to be told,” the attorney, Victoria Toensing, told Fox News. “They can go attack all they want to. He’s got the truth, he’s got briefings, the FBI has all kinds of videotapes.”

And he’s already spilling the beans.

“He recounted numerous times that the Russians bragged that the Clintons’ influence in the Obama administration would ensure CIFIUS approval for Uranium One. And he was right,” Toensing said, according to Red State.

Toensing had warned last year that she had a client ready to spill the beans on Clinton to Congress but had been blocked by the Obama administration’s Justice Department.

“All of the information about this corruption has not come out,” attorney Victoria Toensing told The Hill. “And so my client, the same part of my client that made him go into the FBI in the first place, says, ‘This is wrong. What should I do about it?’”

Toensing did not name the client at the time, but it seems likely she was referring to Campbell.

Given what she had promised last year about corruption, it seems congressional investigators heard a lot more from Campbell than has been released so far.

And that means there could still be even more disturbing revelations still to come.
